Kickboxing is one of the newest martial arts of it’s kind in the modern era. It is a hybrid martial art that utilises a combination of Taekwon-Do, Karate, Boxing and Muay Thai techniques. Kickboxing is well known for it’s high intensity level and is therefore the perfect activity for toning up and getting fit.
We are currently a member of Kickboxing Ireland (KBI) which is Ireland’s largest Kickboxing organisation, and in extension the World Association of Kickboxing Organisation (WAKO) which is shortlisted for inclusion in the Olympic Games (2020). Normally, Kickboxing practise takes the form of pad work, drills and sparring as well as strength and conditioning exercises.
